WI COM SRL – Remocean, born from the laboratories of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), develops advanced solutions for monitoring and surveillance of the sea both from fixed platforms (coasts, off-shore platforms) and from ships. By analyzing the data acquired from common navigation radars and powerful calculation algorithms, the Remocean systems provide, in real time and with high accuracy, the measurement of sea waves (in terms of significant wave height, wavelength and period of the dominant waves), surface current field and the bathymetry of the seabed and carries out the detection and tracking of pollutants and small targets in a range of 3NM.
