NTP Nano Tech Projects s.r.l. has developed an innovative IoT open microscopy platform suitable for Molecular Diagnostics and Digital Pathology applications, named NED – Nano Eye Device. NED exploits DNA microarray potential in providing detailed clinical information related with expressed or even latent pathologies, improving the quality of healthcare services to patients whilst dramatically reducing costs in Molecular Diagnostics applications. The remote real-time control of NED, from a single or multiple users, enables a new level of services and performances in Digital Pathology applications, where an urgent response is required from a pathologist located anywhere in the world. NED is designed using a scalable hardware and software architecture, allowing for different performances for different users and applications (i.e. molecular diagnostics, intrasurgery digital pathology, digital hematology, training and education). NED’s open software architecture also allows for the development of specific software diagnostic applications from 3rd Parties.
